Simulation models were used to estimate soil losses after ploughing, mulch sowing, and direct sowing of loess and sandy loess soils in Sachsen, Germany. Data (2000 and 2006) are tabulated for different slopes, soil cover, soil water content, runoff, % infiltration, and losses of humus, N, P and glyphosate. Start of runoff was delayed from 3.5 minutes in ploughed fields to 7.0 and 9.5 minutes in mulched and directly sown fields, respectively. Direct sowing prevented nearly all nutrient loss.
