Change in the potassium pool of chernozems upon ploughing of old idle land.

摘要

Changes in the potassium pool of a typical Chernozem in the Khar'kov region of the Ukraine, upon the ploughing of abandoned land under different land management practices are discussed. The character of these changes, including the proportions between different forms of potassium in the soil, depends on the K forms, their content and ratio changes in relation to the K balance in the fertilizer-soil-plant system.
