摘要

This retrospective study included 94 patients with MS who were seen at a German MS center within the period 1989-2002 and who were followed for at least 10 years. Multimodal EP tests, including pattern-reversal visual EPs (VEPs), lower-limb somatosensory EPs (SEPs) and/or magnetic motor EPs (MEPs), were performed at first presentation and on at least two other occasions. For each EP modality and for the combined data from multimodal recordings, sum scores were calculated, with each pathological result-abnormal latency or amplitude on either side-scoring one point.
