Nicotinic and other Cys-loop receptors: From identification to mechanisms of action and creation of new drugs

This review focuses on a very broad topic, so in fact it is a minireview. The first task is to briefly present the current state of nicotinic acetylcholine receptors and, even more briefly, some information about other members of the Cys-loop receptor family. The second task is to show studies in this field performed either independently in the author's laboratory or in collaboration with foreign institutions.
