Sprague Energy terminal earns BQ-9000 certification

Sprague Energy,Portsmouth,N.H.,is now the first oil terminal operator in the United States to have earned BQ-9000 Certified Marketer status by the National Biodiesel Board.The BQ-9000 certification proves that Sprague Energy has demonstrated the ability to provide biodiesel that meets or exceeds ASTM D 6751,the standard specification for biodiesel as a blend stock for ultra-low-sulfur diesel fuel and heating oil.Sprague has also proven to have an effective process for managing quality assurance.
