A new report on 'rhizoctonia petal blight of rose in India'

Rose (Rosa spp.) flower are one of the loveliest objects on our earth. Roses are attacked by several diseases, some of which can be very destructive. In India, about 24 fungi have been recorded so far on the rose. Rose flower cv. Abhisarika (H.T) growing in the gardens of Department of Horticulture, Allahabad Agricultural Institute -Deemed University, Allahabad were found affected with petal blight disease.
