OECD lowers global growth forecast to 3.4% in 2014

In its latest economic outlook report,the Paris-based think-tank has trimmed itsglobal growth forecast to 3.4 percent this yearfrom the previous estimate of 3.6 percent. TheOrganisation for Economic Cooperation andDevelopment (OECD) today said the globaleconomy would strengthen over the nexttwo years, but urgent action is still needed tofurther cut unemployment and address otherlegacies from the crisis.
