Govt seeks to exempt 40 coal blocks from cancellation, reauctioning of 218 blocks

Government on Monday told the SupremeCourt that it "wants re-auction of all 218 coal blocks" declared as illegal allocation but soughtits indulgence to "exempt" 40 of them whichare functional and ready for the end use powerplants.
