Early sowing lifts Revenue Results

Grazed or ungrazed, Revenue wheat has performed as well as, or better than, crops sown at a conventional timing the results of a yield comparison trial carried out by the Tasmanian Institute of Agricultural Science and Southern Farming Systems have revealed. There have already been several variety trials comparing the effects of grazing on subsequent grain yields of dual purpose wheats. To complement this research, the Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC) has supported a further trial comparing yields based on sowing time for the recently released variety Revenue.
