OUT OF FOCUS: Focus decides to bail out just before a wedding

LIKE THE lead-up to a lame Neighbours wedding, the Focus hit a hurdle only hours before the nuptials. A dash down to the local cafe at Port Willunga in South Oz to fetch coffees for the bride and her crew resulted in caffeine for all but no means of return transport. I reversed the Focus out of its parking spot, it stalled, and then wouldn't start. Bugger. Two days later, I returned and had another go. It kicked over. Then about 500m up the road, the engine shut down again - right in the middle of a local cycling competition. It was only when I rang Ford Customer Assistance that I realised I had no idea what road I was on or suburb I was in...
