SEMA: America's annual circus of aftermarket madness. And this year was the maddest of them all. For 50 years the Specialty Equipment Manufacturers' Association (SEMA) has been an industry group representing aftermarket parts manufacturers and shops. It doesn't matter if it's for off-road, racing, hot rodding, late model or old school - SEMA covers everyone in the aftermarket. Held each November in Las Vegas, the show acts as a way for members to launch new products and for SEMA to take stock of how the industry is travelling. For a while the industry wasn't travelling that well as, in the wake of 2008's Global Financial Crisis, the aftermarket took a huge hit. Belts were tightened all over the globe and disposable cash to spend on cars dried up. Thankfully, that period looks to be over as 2013 was the biggest show in recent years.
