Having the most up-to-date knowledge and intelligence is nowhere more important than in the theatre of war. Where lives literally depend on the latest information and where well-planned strategies can be obsolete even before completion, effective collaboration is critical. In recent warfare, a network-centric approach has emerged that meets the demands of modern combat. Here, we look at how this approach can be mapped and applied to knowledge management not in war, but as a cutting-edge theory in business.
