EAF water detection results and operation benefits using EFSOP~R technology

摘要

The EFSOP~R installation has proved to be successful in helping to develop an automated operating practice for the electric arc furnace (EAF). It provided the most significant economic benefits through the automation of the 4th-hole damper combined with a burner-injector profile. In addition the EFSOP? water detection has proved its ability to detect abnormal water in the furnace from both snow in the charge bucket and a water panel leak.
