Third Finex plant to expand ironmaking capacities at Posco Pohang steelworks, Korea

The new ironmaking facilitywill produce some 2 milliontons per year of hot metal onthe basis of directly chargedlow-cost iron ore fines andpredominantly noncoking coal.Upon completion of the newplant scheduled for mid-2013, atotal of approximately 4 milliontons per year of hot metal willbe produced using the Finexprocess at Posco.
