Liming and liberal application of mineral fertilizers aimed at improving soil fertility change the chemical, physicochemical, and biological processes in soils. Cations and anions applied with fertilizers primarily affect the composition of soil solution, interact with the surface of soil particles, and thus change the composition and properties of the soil exchange complex SEC. Liming not only neutralizes acids, but also increases the content of calcium an essential nutrient and colloid coagulator in soil solution. All these changes occurring at the molecular-ionic level affect the composition and properties of the solid soil phase at the levels of elementary soil particles and soil aggregates [1-4].The aim of this work was to study the effectof liming and mineral fertilization on the structure and related physical and water-physical properties of soddy-podzolic soil and to monitor changes in the physical properties of soddy-podzolic soil after the cessation of liming and fertilization.
