The Formation of Streamflow Depletion during the Periodic Operation of Riverine Groundwater Pumping

After a series of analytical experiments, regression analysis shows the dependencies between the characteristics of the main phase states of streamflow depletion, which occurred as a result of cyclic groundwater pumping near a river with different hydraulic resistance of the river bed. An algorithm for calculating the optimal surface water and ground water intakes rate in the low-water periods of the river flow is presented.
