Self-calibration measuring methods and applications to measurements of electrical quantities

摘要

In this paper self-calibration measuring methods and systems are introduced for the measurements of electrical quantities. Effective data processing methods, e.g., averaging and smoothing using sinusoid function, are used to reduce the randomerrors of the measuring systems. Self-calibration measuring methods based on linear and quadratic interpolation are applied to the system self-calibration and error self-correction/compensation. A fault detection method is proposed to improve the systemreliability. These methods are primarily applied to the measurements of transfer function and impedance of analogue circuits and systems. The results show that the random errors are effectively reduced by the data processing, and short-term stablesystematic errors are easily compensated by the interpolation self-calibration methods. The provided methods are very suitable for the measurements of electrical quantities of elements, analogue circuits and systems with relatively low cost.
