New York Appeals Court: Landlord Lacked Notice Of Any Lead Hazard

ALBANY, N.Y. - The Third Department New York Supreme Court Appellate Division on Dec. 26 affirmed an order granting summary judgment to a landlord defendant. The court concluded that the landlord lacked constructive notice that there was a lead hazard in the apartment (Frederick Williams v. Joe Lee Thomas, No. 516741, N.Y. Sup., App. Div., 3rd Dept.; 2013 N.Y. App. Div. LEXIS 8517).
