A n all-TPO instrument panel in Chevrolet's Colorado and GMC's Canyon compact pickup trucks is the first of its kind for GM in North America.All major components of the IP are molded of Solvay's Sequel 2380 thermoplastic polyolefin.Traditionally,GM instrument panels have been built using painted PC/ABS parts or vinyl skin-and-foam construction.The unpainted TPO,which is colored at the press,is a lower-cost alternative to both of these methods.
