摘要

Since the area of a star-shaped vortex is equal to that of a triangular vortex due to the flux quantization, the size of the star-shaped vortex is derivable from that of the triangular vortex. The fluctuation in the distance between vortices is used to find the flux-lattice melting temperature. It is found that the flux-lattice melting temperature of a star-shaped vortex is about one fourth that of a triangular vortex but at zero temperature, the melting field of a star-shaped vortex is about equal to that of the triangular vortex.
