摘要

The constant-diameter cam mechanism with a planar motion follower is researched systematically. The relations between the geometric parameters and the cam angles of the mechanism are established. An algorithm for calculating the configuration dimensions of mechanism relative to the prescribed cam angles is presented. The allowable values of the cam angles, the swing angle and the initial installation angle of output rocker are analysed and determined on the basis of allowable transmission angle. Moreover, a diagram illustrated the applicable ranges of the mentioned angles is plotted. The equations of cam profile are developed according to the expected rise motion. Finally, the return motion of output rocker is derived from the synthesized cam.
