I'm not going to mince words:Stephen Harper's Conservative government is bad for manufacturing and for the plastics industry.Canadian governments - no matter which party is in power - continue to create policies that undermine the manufacturing community's ability to grow and even be profitable.But Harper's Conservatives,by the nature of its voter base in Alberta and its closer ties with the U.S.,lead me to believe a majority Conservative government would only make things worse.
