Closing Remarks of the EUREF-Symposium in Riga, 14 - 17 June 2006by the President of the IAG Reference Frame Sub-commission Europe(EUREF)

During the Symposium we had the opportunity to beacquainted with new important developments as, forexample, the coming ITRF2005, the upgrades in the EPN,the scientific and technical issues related with the definitionof the EVRS, the new contributions to the EUVN_DAproject, the densification and extension of the ETRF bymeans of GPS campaigns, the velocity field in the Eurasianplate, just to mention a few.
