BIODIESEL PRICES 26% BELOW REFERENCE LEVEL AT ANP AUCTION

Brazil's National Petroleum Agency, ANP, held its 32nd biodiesel auction in early August. A total of 524.8 mln litres of FAME were sold at an average BRL1.856 ($1=BRL2.278) per litre, 26.1% below the maximum reference price, for Sep/Oct 2013 delivery. The total amount offered by 40 producers was 770.2 mln litres. The volumes sold will be used for B-5 blends.
