CNE PUBLISHES NEW BIOFUELS TARGETS

Spain's national energy commission (CNE) has published the cut of biofuels quotas recently proposed by the Industry Ministry (MITyC). The quotas now rise from 4.78% cal. in 2010 to 6.10% cal. in 2013, which compares with the previous 5.83% cal. in 2010 and 7.00% cal. from 2011. Minimum blending obligations for biodiesel and fuel alcohol are to rise to 3.9% cal. each next year and then to 4.1% cal.
