Sensex scales 15000 mark as tech stocks lead rally; metal stocks in fresh intermediate uptrend

An all time high for the Sensex as it crossed another peak of 15,000 as tech stocks have now joined the uptrend. When the indices bottomed out in March, initially it was the banking and the metals stocks which started the uptrend and then capital goods joined. The past two weeks witnessed cement and construction stocks zooming and now it is the turn of the tech stocks, Tech stocks have been a laggard since March and this market rotation has been helping the indices to move into the new high territory. Since the indices bottomed out in March, mid cap and small cap stocks have lead the rise as the CNX Mid Cap Index has been in a new high well before the Sensex and the Nifty made a new high. Now, as more as more sectors are joining the rise, the Nifty and Sensex are scaling new peaks
