Hebei Jinheng to invest in zirconium chemicals project

The Jiheng Group, based in Hengshui City in Hebei Province, has announced that it is planning to construct a facility to produce up to 20,000 tonnes per annum of zirconium chemicals, including zirconium oxychloride and zirconium carbonate. The company said that a feasibility study on the project has been completed and is now under review. Construction is expected to commence by the end of this year. When at full operation, the output from the plant would push Jinheng into the ranks of the top five global producers of zirconium chemicals.
