Cheniere, Endesa sign 20-year LNG deal

Cheniere Energy Inc.'s Corpus Christi Liquefaction LLC subsidiary agreed to an LNG sale and purchase agreement with Madrid-based Endesa Generation SA under which Endesa agreed to purchase 1.5 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) of LNG from the export facility being developed near Corpus Christi, Texas. The liquefaction project is being designed and permitted for up to three trains with aggregate design production capacity of 13.5 mtpa of LNG.
