CENTRAL AMERICA HOPES FOR SOME COFFEE RECOVERY IN 2010/11

Continuing effects of El Nino-related weather problems, poor crop husbandry, adding to a labour and credit shortage are seen resulting in another below-normal coffee harvest in Central America's iSpcoining 2010/11 cycle. But compared to last year's harvest, which was one -of the smallest in history for thevregion, a modest recovery is expected if weather allows for a normal cherry development and bean formation from now through October.
