Sustainability update

REPORTING on sustainability could soon be as core to business practice as finance with banks and other stakeholders increasingly applying key performance standards to their investments. This was a key message of the Mining, People and the Environment conference, held prior to the PDAC convention, as well as other corporate social responsibility (CSR) seminars during the meeting. As part of this drive, a number of CSR standards are currently being reviewed.
