Case launches CX460

Earthmoving-equipment manufacturer Case has launched a new hydraulic back-hoe, the CX460. The new unit's main features include a new, more powerful 250 kW engine, a more efficient hydraulic system, a larger cab featuring a electronic control system and the option of various widths of track. The CX460's Isuzu engine complies with Tier 2 US emissions regulations, and features an electronic management control system. Automatic engine preheating enables the unit to reach maximum output immediately after start-up, which improves efficiency and helps to extend engine and hydraulic-systems life.
