Congratulations to the winners of the 1995 individual and section GEM awards. These winners are profiled on page 79 in this issue of MINING ENGINEERING. In addition to the projects and ideas presented by the Southwestern Wyoming Section and Joseph Hanzel of the San Francisco section, activities of three other nominated GEM committees are listed below. The Georgia section has equipped a traveling cabinet with geological and mineral educational materials, such as videotapes, maps, posters and worksheets. The materials have been distributed to 13 regional educational service agencies. During the summer, teachers were able to write lesson plans using the cabinet resources.
