Military in Scale : Svin!

Svin! Or Pigs! is set in a place in Norway during the occupation from 1940-45. The scene shows an old lady who is blocked on her daily trip to the market by two Germans. I think the old lady's thoughts about the two intruders are very similar to the name of the two creatures she carries in her box! The goal behind this project was to make a diorama in which I could try out some new techniques like running water (which is often a challenging technique), and at the same time, make a scene from one of my main topics of interest these days, my native Norway.
