In Formula 1, or indeed any car, to get the best traction you've got to invest in the right tyres. The same is true of customers. To achieve maximum traction, you have to provide the most favourable conditions for contact. In a recent quest to buy a new car, the first issue that struck me was customer parking. Among the six dealers I visited, parking was almost impossible. OK, it was a Saturday, but that, after all, is a popular time, Parking may not be a problem on a Tuesday, but customers visit at their convenience, not ours. And of those six dealers, only two bothered to follow up my visit.
