摘要

A Vancouver-based expert in facilitating negotiations between Aboriginal groups and the mining industry says an increasing number of Aboriginal Peoples in B.C. want to take advantage of the opportunities available to them through exploring for and developing the mineral deposits located on their traditional territories. Craig Noordmans explains, "Many First Nations in B.C. are going through a period of transition from opposing projects to participating in them in ways that suit their culture and that benefit them materially."
