Recently I had cause to ring Western Australian minerals and energy minister Norman Moore's office about an exploration matter. A letter had been sent by a company chief executive setting out in some detail a proposal regarding the timing of the release of some exploration areas. The letter sought a meeting with the minister to explain further what it was that the company was seeking to do.
