As Drillbits reported back in October, the rift between Australia's mining and agricultural industries had all but disappeared, judging by some remarks made earlier this year by the Minerals Council of Australia to a Commonwealth enquiry. The spectre of this conflict rearing its ugly head again, however, was raised during the recent Mining 2009 Resources Convention in Brisbane, when Queensland mines minister Stephen Robertson suggested there might be some trouble ahead for players in the state's emerging coal seam gas (CSG) sector.
