WESTERN AUSTRALIAN JUNIOR Gleneagle Gold Ltd continues to move closer to its goal of becoming a major player in the South African coal industry after finalising a deal with a leading black economic empowerment (BEE) group. The Perth-based company received shareholder approval in March for a series of transactions relating to the acquisition, financing and execution of a landmark coal mining and independent power producer (IPP) strategy in the Waterberg Coalfield of northern South Africa.
