The Andrew Forrest-chaired Poseidon Nickel (POS) has completed a definitive feasibility study at its Windarra nickel project in Western Australia, confirming the viability of a 9,600 tonne per annum (tpa) nickel concentrate operation over an initial 10-year life of mine. The study incorporates the development of the existing Mount Windarra underground mine, a nearby Cerberus underground mine, a nickel sulphide concentrator plant and re-treatment plant and includes a gold production facility at the site.
