Orion maintains search tempo for REE in central Australia

A gold lining may now be evident for Orion Metals Ltd (ASX: ORM) with its ongoing exploration at Killi Killi West in the Tanami region of central Australia. The company drilled 19 holes at the prospect with significant gold recorded in broad sections, mainly in a group of holes in the eastern part of the drilling pattern. However results indicated that the rare earth element (REE) values did not continue at depth and only mildly anomalous levels were reported in some of the intercepts.
