Iron ore juniors have been awarded a double whammy of disadvantage with the new mining tax regime, missing out -like all the mid tier and junior companies - on the consultation process in Canberra. A group of company representatives, including Atlas Iron's David Flanagan and BC Iron's Mike Young - along with Association of Mining and Exploration Companies' (AMEC) Simon Bennison described their disappointment at a press conference in Perth early this month.
