WHILE OPINIONS MAY vary amongst investment advisors and stockbrokers, the London-based CRU Group has come up with a list based partly on an underlying assumption that not all metals and minerals in the periodic table are equal during any point in time. During Vertical Events' recent Mining 2008 Resources Convention in Brisbane, CRU's regional director for Australasia, Professor Allan Trench, predicted the big three minerals next year would be manganese, molybdenum and bauxite.
