Queensland presence strengthened

Despite a share price spike at the end of November, it is still unlikely the market has fully appreciated the potential of West Australian-based exploration house Summit Resources Ltd. For a start the company is a minnow operating within a world class mineral environment (the Mount Isa Inlier in central Queensland) and has 5,566 square kilometres of holdings which are 100 percent-owned. Secondly, the junior explorer has a slew of minerals in its exploration portfolio, including base metals, gold, uranium, vanadium, iron ore and phosphate. Thirdly, there is plenty of upside in Summit's stock, with only 150 million shares trading through the Australian Stock Exchange. Finally, the company is an experienced player in the minerals game, having originally listed in New Zealand during 1987 and then on the ASX in 1994.
