Multi-commodity explorer Reed Resources Ltd has wasted no time in showing the quality of its recently-acquired Meekatharra gold project, with a review of previous drilling revealing impressive grades of both yellow metal and copper. A program of RC drilling was undertaken by Endeavour Resources (an earlier incarnation of St Barbara Ltd) in the 1990s near the historic Chunderloo copper mine. This work revealed a shoot containing an intercept of 15 metres at 14.7 grams/ tonne gold and 4.1% copper (including 7m at 28.9 g/t and 8.3% respectively).
