摘要

In this paper, the characteristics of a modified meander-type antenna for broadband impedance bandwidth are investigated in the 5-GHz band. The design is based on a modified meander-line width in a finite-sized ground with coaxial SMA feeding. The modified meander-type microstrip patch antenna is able to achieve an impedance bandwidth of about 1.0 GHz or 17.5% for a VSWR of less than 2. Radiation patterns are broad across the pass band. The gain is measured 7.3-9.5 dBi.
