摘要

This article presents a coplanar waveguide-fed wideband bowtie antenna with harmonic suppression using non-uniform cascaded defected ground structure units. The antenna operates between 2 GHz and 5.4 GHz and harmonics are effectively reduced. Its size is only 0.44×0.48 (λ_0)~2, λ_0 being the free-space wavelength at 2 GHz. Simulation and measurement agree very well.
