摘要

In this article, a novel guest-host nonlinear optical material is synthesized by using poly(methylmethacrylate) as the host and Disperse Red 19 as the guest. This material can be synthesized easily. A high cost-performance electro-optic switch using the coplanar waveguide electrodes operating at 1550 nm has been designed and fabricated. Switching time of device is less than 114 ns.
