Virginia Seeks Proposals for Replacing Gas, Diesel Vehicles

The Virginia Propane Gas Association (VAPGA) reports that the commonwealth is seeking to replace state-owned vehicles with potentially cleaner, cheaper, domestic alternative fuel vehicles. To help the association reach the goal without adding significant costs, Virginia Clean Cities is assisting with creating a public-private partnership. Virginia's General Assembly recently unanimously approved legislation proposed by Gov. Bob McDonnell directing the replacement program.
