The first half of 2008 saw propane spot and posted prices continue to gain ground from their winter lows.With crude oil futures rising sharply since the start of the year,and propane continuing to trade based on crude oil,there was little doubt that propane prices would move higher as crude oil prices ventured into uncharted territory.On a sobering note,propane has been trading in a rather weak ratio to crude oil,and should that change,propane prices could have a tremendous upside-especially if crude oil heads toward 200/bbl,as some analysts have predicted.
