The metals tried to recover early last week with prices getting back to $1,926/tonne on Wednesday, but the follow through buying was lacking and the pull back then turned into another sell-off on Friday with prices falling to $1,852/tonne, this was extended further on Monday to $1,842.50/tonne. This has taken prices down to the lowest they have been since August last year when prices were in the process of building a base. The low during that period was at $1,830/tonne.
